Your energy. A smarter routine. Meet SmartApp 2.0 ↗

AmpByte SmartApp 2.0 / Everyday Use

Your Charger. Day to Day.

Start a charge, manage access, check Health and keep your records—all in one place.

01 / HOME AT A GLANCE

Know what your charger is doing.

Live gauge
Charging status, power, current and voltage.
Rate Plan & charging timeline
Price periods in the background, with scheduled, delayed or Solar Only windows in the foreground.
Active Session
Energy, duration, estimated cost and savings for the current charge.
Thermometer
Tap to view monitored temperatures on supported models.

Use the charging control to start or pause as appropriate for the current mode.

02 / IMMEDIATE & DELAYED

Power now. Or after a short wait.

Immediate

Connect the EV. Open Home → Charging Mode → Immediate, set Delay to 0, select a permitted current and tap Confirm. Charging can begin when the EV is ready.

Delayed

Use the same mode, set Delay greater than 0, choose the current and tap Confirm. Charging begins when the countdown ends.

For a repeating weekday or weekend routine, use Smart Schedule.

03 / SHARING & CHARGING ACCESS

Choose who can charge.

Share app access

Use Tuya’s device-sharing controls to invite the intended account. The original account remains the host for most settings.

Approve each charging request

Turn on Settings → Charging Approval. When a vehicle requests charging, the host can choose Allow or Deny in the app.

Manage NFC cards

On models with NFC support, a card can authorize charging. Press and hold the Charging Approval card in Settings for 3 seconds to open NFC card management and add or remove cards.

04 / HEALTH & DIAGNOSTICS

Check status. Understand warnings.

Health

Review the latest power-on self-test report and safety-event history.

Temperature monitoring

Tap the thermometer on Home to view plug, control-box and EV-connector temperatures where supported.

Diagnostics

Settings may show phase voltage and current, CP voltage, ground information, temperatures and upload status. These readings help with observation and support.

05 / FINISH & SAVE YOUR SESSION

Finish the charge. Keep the record.

  1. 1
Disconnect at the vehicle first. Unlock the vehicle inlet and physically remove the EV connector while the charger remains powered.
  2. 2
Wait for the record. Let the charger return to standby and complete its cloud upload while Wi-Fi is available. Check Statistics.
  3. 3
Then remove supply power if needed. Follow the charger hardware manual for safe disconnection.

Charger-measured kWh include charging losses; energy reaching the battery is lower. Earlier records may not recalculate after a tariff change.
